Korua Pencil Gloss Snowboard

The Korua Pencil snowboard is a freeride carver with a surfy feel: made for long, fast turns on piste as well as effortless float in powder. The pointy nose keeps your speed nice through the turn, while the swallowtail and taper provide a playful release and super smooth edge-to-edge response. Ideal if you love soulful turns, trenches and flow all over the mountain.

Shape
Directional (pointy nose) - directional outline with a long, pointy nose for drive and float, and a swallowtail for extra playful release out of the turn without losing grip.

Rocker Type
Float Camber - camber under your feet with rocker/early rise in the nose. Lots of speed and grip on hard piste, with extra float and easy turn initiation in deeper snow.

Flex rating
7/10 - medium-stiff: stable enough to carve hard and maintain speed, but still smooth and controllable when things get more variable.

Core
Poplar Light Wood Core - lightweight, durable wood core with lively response and consistent flex.

Base
Premium Sintered Base - fast, hard-wearing base with reliable glide and longevity.

Extra
Biaxial Fiberglass - balanced torsion for smooth control and reliable edge hold.
Swallowtail + taper - quick edge changes, more float and a playful exit from the turn.
Setback: 35 mm - more nose elevator and directional drive.
