Good protection starts with a snowboard helmet. We recommend all snowboarders to wear a helmet to prevent serious head injuries. The snow may be soft, but most falls happen on unexpected ice patches, during high speeds, collisions or on landings from jumps and rails and then a helmet is a life saver.
Size chart snowboard helmets
|Head circumference in cm.||Helmet size
|52 - 54||XXS / XS|
|54 - 56||S / M|
|57 - 59||L / XL|
|59 - 60.5||XXL|
When choosing a snowboard helmet, the size is very important. Take the circumference of your head with a tape measure just above your eyebrows and on the sides above your ears. The largest possible circumference counts. This circumference is your ideal helmet size.
Another test is to shake the helmet from side to side and from top to bottom. If it doesn't sag or shift, it's a perfect fit. Here you can find all brands of snowboard helmets that we have tested and approved ourselves. You can find TSG and Oakley snowboard helmets with matching goggles.
We know which helmet is right for you and we'll be happy to answer any questions you might have in our shop or online.
