It's original skater, artist, video maker and all-round creative mastermind Pontus Alv started Polar Skate Co. in the far north of Malmö, Sweden. The decks themselves are made in the BBS Manufacturing factory in California, one of the most respected in the world. Polar skateboards are very sturdy but what makes them so special are the graphics of Pontus Alv and his co-founders Stefan Narancic and Jacob Ovgren. Their decks are real works of art that fortunately don't take themselves too seriously. Skateboarding is fun.
Combined with a skateboarding style that brings the vibe of the 80's back to life, Polar Skate Co. has been a core brand from the beginning. For and by skaters. Creative street rippers like Hjalte Halberg, Kevin Rodrigues and Dane Brady are just a few of the Polar Skate Co. team.
