Description
The Korua Pocket Rocket snowboard is an ultra-playful mini-freerider: short, wide and made to turn every sidehit, pillow and turn into a playground. The extra width gives you lots of float and super stability on carves, while the short length makes the board fast and agile-perfect for trees, slashes and creative lines.
Shape
Directional - a directional shape with wide nose and setback for extra float and control. The "short & wide" concept makes it extremely maneuverable without sacrificing stability.
Rocker Type
Float Camber - camber under your feet for grip and pop, with early rise/rocker in the nose for easy turn initiation and float in softer snow.
Flex rating
6/10 - Medium: playful and forgiving enough to slash and play, but firm enough to carve hard on groomers.
Core
Poplar Light Wood Core - light, durable wood core with lively response.
Base
Premium Sintered Base - fast, hard-wearing base with good glide in all conditions.
Extra
Short & Wide concept - lots of stability, less toe/heel drag and super fast edge-to-edge.
Taper + setback - extra float in powder and a surfy feel through the turn.
Switch riding: can be done, but this board is primarily made for popping forward.
Binding compatibility
2x4 - standard insert pattern, compatible with most snowboard bindings.
Terrain
Freeride | Powder | All-Mountain - ideal for powder, trees, sidehits and creative lines, but also surprisingly fun on the slopes.
Rider level
Intermediate | Advanced - for riders who are already comfortable riding and want a playful freeride board with maximum fun factor.
