Flex

2/10 - Discover the versatility of a snowboard with a soft flex between 1 and 4. These snowboards are perfect for beginner snowboarders, thanks to their forgiveness and flexibility. With their playfulness, these boards are ideal for slopestyle tricks, rails, and for the freestyle snowboarder who likes to have fun on the slopes.

Shape

Directional Twin—this shape combines features of both a directional and a twin board. It has a symmetrical shape (twin) regarding the nose and tail around the bindings, which provides balance during freestyle maneuvers such as spins or switch riding. However, outside the bindings, the nose may be slightly longer than the tail, or the flex may vary from front to back, making the board more suitable for all-mountain riding in one direction. This makes the board versatile, performance-oriented in various snow conditions, and still suitable for park riding.

Rocker Type

CamRock—a unique rocker/camber flex pattern—provides balanced tip and tail rocker with camber between the bindings, keeping your tips playful while maintaining the power and pop of camber under your feet.

Core

Full Wood Core—This tried-and-true core is constructed entirely of poplar wood. Poplar offers a great combination of durability, flexibility, and a lively feel. Despite its accessible nature, this ensures the Play doesn’t feel dead under your feet. The wood core provides plenty of natural pop when you apply pressure to the snowboard.

Base

N-5000 Extruded - This extruded base was selected primarily for its durability and low-maintenance properties, making it ideal for beginner snowboarders. You don’t have to constantly deal with wax and extensive maintenance to keep the board gliding smoothly. According to Nidecker, the N-5000 Base remains quite fast even without regular waxing.
