Description
The Lib Tech Orca is anything but a gutless fish. This award-winning Travis Rice signature combines a dream of a directional shape with brutal power, float and precision. Born in Jackson Hole, it's made to handle everything from powder pillows to resort slashes and deep carves. The wide waist and aggressive sidecut maximize grip without toe drag, while the longer nose and Whale Tail technology strike the perfect balance between surfy flow and explosive pop. Shape
Directional - With this shape, the binding is a bit more backwards, giving the snowboard a longer nose. This makes the snowboard perfect for freeride and all-mountain riding, giving you more float in powder.
Rocker Type
Hybrid C2x – A perfectly balanced all terrain contour. Mild rocker between your feet combined with powerful cambers on the nose and tail.
Flex rating
7/10 - A stiff snowboard like this one ensures excellent response and support, allowing you to ride confidently and powerfully on the slopes. If you are an experienced and powerful snowboarder, a hard flex is exactly what you need for optimal performance.
Core
Horsepower (HP) Construction. - A lighter, smoother blend of 60% aspen and 40% paulownia. Finished with basalt alloy.
Base
Sintered Knife Cut Base - The base was made with a double layer of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene. Optimized wax retention and strength. Regular waxing and professional repairs are required.
Extra
Magne-Traction® – with Magne-Traction® transform your ice cream is powder. This technology has 7 stategically placed edge serrations. This gives you fantastic control and edge protection.
Binding compatibility
2x4 - This system is the most common pattern for snowboards today. Two rows of inserts are provided that are 2 inches apart. This allows for different stand widths. To attach your snowboard binding, you need four screws in the 2x4 system.
