Description

The Dalbello Cabrio MV 120 3DWrap 2027 Opal Red/Black ski boots are designed for advanced skiers seeking powerful performance, control, and a progressive flex. With a flex rating of 120 and a medium last width of 101 mm, this all-mountain and freeride ski boot combines firm support with a versatile fit. The signature three-piece Cabrio Construction ensures smooth power transfer and excellent shock absorption, while the Dynalink Heel Retention System keeps the heel firmly in place. Thanks to the 3DensityWrap NOW liner, Cabrio Kinetic Tongue, and extensive adjustment options, this model is a strong choice for skiers who want to go all out both on the slopes and in challenging terrain.

Flex: 120

With a flex index of 120, this Dalbello ski boot offers firm, sporty support. The three-piece Cabrio Construction provides a progressive flex, with resistance gradually increasing as you build up more forward pressure.

This gives the boot a controlled and responsive feel with good shock absorption. Ideal for powerful turns, higher speeds, and dynamic skiing on varied terrain.

Fit & Last Width: Medium Volume – 101 mm

The Cabrio MV 120 3DWrap has a medium fit with a nominal last width of 101 mm. This last is ideal for skiers with an average to slightly wider forefoot who are looking for ample space without sacrificing a secure fit.

The Dynalink Heel Retention System pulls the foot backward and downward when the middle buckle is fastened, keeping the heel more stable in the boot.

Your instep height, heel shape, and overall foot volume also determine the final fit. The specified last width is a nominal value and varies with shoe size.

Closure System: 3 C23 Buckles

The Dalbello Cabrio MV 120 3DWrap features three micro-adjustable C23 buckles that allow you to independently adjust the tension around the foot and lower leg.

The middle buckle works in conjunction with the Dynalink Heel Retention System to provide targeted heel closure. A 40 mm Power Strap offers additional support at the top of the cuff and helps improve power transfer during aggressive skiing.

Liner & Footbed: 3DensityWrap NOW

The 3DensityWrap NOW liner consists of three layers with different densities. The softer inner layer ensures comfortable contact with the foot, while the firmer outer layers improve support and power transfer.

The wrap construction envelops the foot and lower leg without a traditional liner tongue. This ensures even support and a precise connection between the foot and the outer shell.

Shell & Cuff: Cabrio Construction & Kinetic Tongue

The three-part Cabrio Construction consists of a polyurethane shell, a polyurethane cuff, and a separate Cabrio Kinetic Tongue made of Pebax RNEW.

This construction provides progressive flex, good lateral support, and efficient shock absorption. The Kinetic Tongue supports a smooth forward motion and controlled rebound.

Thanks to Forward Lean Control, the cuff’s forward tilt can be adjusted between 12° and 14°. Cabrio Canting, an adjustable spoiler, and the customizable bootboard offer additional options for professionally fine-tuning posture and fit.

Sole & Binding Compatibility: GripWalk

The pre-mounted GripWalk soles comply with the ISO 23223 standard. They offer extra grip and a more natural rolling motion when walking off-piste.

These ski boots are compatible with ski bindings that are explicitly compatible with GripWalk. Not every traditional alpine binding supports this type of sole. Therefore, always have the compatibility of your specific binding checked and have the binding professionally adjusted.

Level: Advanced – Expert

These Dalbello ski boots are particularly suited for advanced to highly experienced skiers who enjoy powerful and dynamic skiing.

The 120 flex and the progressive Cabrio construction really shine during active carving, freeriding, and skiing on varied terrain. This sturdy construction may be less suitable for relaxed, recreational skiing.

Size Guide: Mondopoint & Fit

Choose your ski boot based on your foot length in centimeters, expressed in Mondopoint. Your regular European shoe size is only a guideline.

With this medium Cabrio fit, your forefoot width, instep height, and heel volume are also important. The boot should fit snugly with a stable heel, without any uncomfortable pressure points. A ski boot that’s too large can cause extra foot movement and reduce control.

Stoked Boot Fitting Advice

At Stoked in Halle, we especially recommend this Dalbello model to athletic all-mountain and freeride skiers looking for a progressive flex and firm heel support. We pay special attention to the space around the forefoot, the fit across the instep, and the support provided by the 3DensityWrap NOW liner. Thanks to the adjustable Forward Lean Control, Cabrio Canting, the customizable bootboard, and optional supportive insoles, we can fine-tune the fit and skiing posture wherever the construction and your foot shape allow.
