Koen Goris Mobile tour Austria Episode 3: powered by Stoked Boardshop - Ride Snowboards - Snowbite - O'Neill

I travel on from Stubai to Kaltenbach and here the weather is beautiful with temperatures around freezing point.
My mobile home is at the bottom of the cable car in Hochfugen where there are no signs prohibiting campers, chill. After a day of slopes cruising I meet the Swede, Hofman. He is the co-owner of the brand Fürberg Freeride boards. We quickly see that Freeriding is in both our blood and we agree to go bang the next day.

A little hike and then we drive a very nice flank full of drops with good conditions.
We also drop into a sick couloir and then you immediately feel that you are alive. There will be a 4star Freeride World Tour competition here on February 7, so you can already imagine the level of difficulty.

After these powder days and a soul filled with white gold, I drive back to Mayrhofen. There, Pro Freestyle Skier and Saisonnier Bram Cooreman is waiting for me. Thanks to his travel agency "Wacco Travels" I can exchange my spartan life in the mobile home for three days in a 4 star hotel with a 5 course menu and a breakfast to dream of. Together we hit the thickest cliff drops and I must say that I had to use my legs very well. Kudos Bram !

The next few weeks it's getting warmer in the mountains. It seems like March, ideal for camping and hitting parklaps. Together with Stoked sponsored snowboarder Kevin Trammer we are hitting the biggest line at the moment in Mayrhofen Penken Park. The Shapers are busy finishing the Pro Line. The young boys took my advice well and Trammer was soon popping smoothe 5's and 7's on all sides.

I'm also getting the hang of FS9 and BS7 so time for some competition. We head to the beautiful Schöneben for the Qparks snowboard tourstop: Battle Rojal. Despite the high level of the competition I made it to the finals and ended up on a 6th place, which gave me a lot of points. I had a good time and threw some great tricks. Life is good :)
