Shape

True Twin - a snowboard with true twin shape, like this oneBataleon Kids Minishred is best suited for snow park, kickers and rails. These boards have a perfectly symmetrical shape where the nose and tail are exactly the same length. The flex and camber are equal in both the nose and tail. With this shape you can easily switch between goofy and regular snowboarding.

Rocker Type

Low camber - This snowboard has low camber. You can tell by the curvature of the board and the slight rise between nose and tail. When you stand on this Bataleon Minishred snowboard you get a uniform pressure over the whole board, from nose to tail. This gives you optimal grip and power.

3BT™ (Triple Base Technology) with SideKick™. - Bataleon snowboards have positive camber from nose to tail. This is combined with increased contact points in the sidebase. SideKick™ enhances those 3BT advantages by increasing sidebase lift at the widest points. This allows you to take your turns even smoother, have better float in powder and more control of your snowboard on rough terrain.

Flex rating

1/10 - Snowboards with a soft flex rating are extra flexible and ideal for beginning snowboarders thanks to their forgiveness. In addition, these snowboards are ideal for slope style tricks, rails and for the snowboarder who likes to play on the slopes. Perfect for the young freestyle snowboarder.

Core

Woodcore Core - Bataleon uses a variety of woods in their woodcore. The Minishred is full of poplar with hardwood beech longitudinal beams to strengthen the board's spine.

Base

Hyper Glide S Base - This is Bataleon's standard sintered base that provides durability and speed. A sintered base is harder and faster. It is important to keep your board waxed to take full advantage of this speed.eid.

FlipFlop Base - FlipFlop bases are more environmentally conscious because they use two or more color options per piece. That means this snowboard is more unique and may sometimes differ a bit from the product photo shown.

Binding compatibility

2x4 - This system is the most common pattern for snowboards today. Two rows of inserts are provided that are 2 inches apart. This allows for different stand widths. To attach your snowboard binding, you need four screws in the 2x4 system.

Terrain

All-Mountain|Freestyle - This Bataleon Kids Minishred snowboard is a Freestyle All-Mountain board. With an all-mountain snowboard, you have enough versatility to explore the entire mountain. This is complemented by the playfulness and flexibility of a freestyle snowboard.

Flex

2/10 - The Bataleon Minishred is a snowboard binding with low flex. This makes it very forgiving and therefore ideal for beginners.

Baseplate

Solid base - This patented blend of nylon and fiberglass provides optimal flex, response, damping and strength. All with minimal weight. In addition, it features a smart, rubber cushioning system with integrated EVA foot pads to reduce vibration.

Highback

Flatback Highback - this highback was designed for optimal tip-to-tail mobility and heel-to-toe response. These are super flexible for jibs but also high enough for firm landings and carves at high speeds. In addition, these feature adjustable forward slope to set your desired responsiveness.

Straps

Miller Straps - Flexible, contoured straps that follow the contours of your snowboard boot. These were made with perforated mesh to reduce pinch points and distribute pressure across the foot.

Rider level

Intermediate|Advanced - Most snowboarders fall into this level. Advanced bindings range from softer freestyle bindings to stiffer bindings for stability with an eye on speed.
